Ratt Nest Gaming was founded in 2000 under the name of Ratt Nest Productions by five high school friends. Its original goal was for game development and testing, and while all members had a common love for gaming, not all shared the same passion for development.

Small LAN parties were held regularly throughout high school. Our first official LAN as a group was hosted by Omen, and Disorbtion created our first logo as shown below. Also not to be forgotten is our first website that shankdog10 created which is somehow still up and running at this old tripod website.

Our group had expanded and still kept in touch throughout the college years with LAN parties commonly held over breaks and holidays. Another website was created in 2004 that had a similar module format as our current site, but it was eventually brought down due to hackers. We had re-named to RN Systems and MrToasty had created the banner for this site.

RN Systems would slowly become more and more inactive and somewhat stagnant as a group; LAN parties were held less often as real life got in the way more than we would have liked. A Steam group was created in 2008 by gri3v under the name of RN Gaming to solely focus on what the group has always been about and what brings them back together.

A new logo was created by shankdog10's brother, Nate, and in time enough interest had generated for a LAN to be hosted at the Purpose1 office in Harrisburg for New Year's 2009, marking the group's resurrection. This office has become the ideal venue to host what is now our annual New Year's LAN -- which is our major event of the year that seems to grow and improve each time.

In February 2011, it was decided that a name change was needed to reflect the constant evolution and expansion of our group over the years. The name of Vitality Gaming was chosen and now will be used to represent us and define us.

With the name change, came a need for an entirely new logo. A community logo contest was held and long time member NtgCleaner won by designing an awesome logo for us to use for the foreseeable future.

With renewed life and support, Vitality Gaming continues our tradition of gaming together and keeping in touch. We also enjoy meeting and gaming with new people online, so please feel free to join us at anytime.
